What is an Oilman? Or What is Drill Crew Between the security of childhood and the insecurity of second childhood we find a fascinating group of humanity called: Oilmen They come in all shapes and sizes, in dirty overalls, in court, in love, in bars and always in debt. Girls love them, towns tolerate them and companies support them. An Oilman is: laziness with a pack of cards, bravery with a tattered copy of Playboy and protector of the world on a 6 pack of beer. He has the energy of a Tortoise, the slyness of a Fox, the brains of a Worm, the stories of a Sea Captain, the sincerity of a born liar and the aspirations of a Casanova. Some of his interests are: Women, Females, Dames, Broads, Chicks and the opposite sex. He dislikes answering letters, overtime, safety meetings and warm beer. No one else can cram so much into one pocket: a dirty handkerchief, a package of crushed Cigarettes, a picture of his girlfriend, a comb, a church key, an old boarding card and what is left of out of last weeks pay. He likes to spend money on girls, some on booze, some on horses, some on football and the rest he just spends foolishly. An Oilman is a magical creature. You can lock him out of your house, but not out of your heart. You can scratch him from a Chopper list, but not from your mind. He is your one and only pissed off pain in the ass. But all of his shattered dreams become whole again when he climbs aboard that shore bound chopper, looks back at the platform and says .. fook THAT BallS**t!

Is that still around?
I first read that in 1980, it was on a Tee shirt in Thailand. I would have thought that the younger generation would have come up with some thing new by now.
